The brief

AfterBits recycles electronics for businesses and households, from locations in Texas and Oregon, and also offers data destruction and IT asset disposal. The site had to tell a new visitor what is accepted and let them ask for a pickup, and carry the services, pricing, locations and a blog besides.

What we built and why

  1. Two buttons at the top

We put Accepted Items and Request Pickup at the top of the site, where a new client looks first.

  2. A pickup request is one form

Request Pickup leads to the contact form, so asking for a collection takes one form.

  3. Pricing in the menu

We gave pricing its own page in the main menu.

  4. Each location with its details

The locations section lists each site, in the Houston area of Texas and in Medford, Oregon, with its address, phone and hours.

  5. A blog of recycling guides

A blog explains how to recycle things like batteries and TVs.
